"Day in the Life" Family Lifestyle Session | Chester County, Pennsylvania

Last year I photographed a family and the kids were just. NOT. having. it. They didn’t want to pose for any photos and instead of getting frustrated… I let them play and interact with each other naturally. We ended up with a beautiful session full of every day moments. And guess what? My clients were HAPPY.

So I had a thought… why not make it a new type of family portrait session? One where there’s no posing and less stress on the parents. Kids can play and parents can put away their phones and be fully present. With that in mind, I introduced the “Day in the Life” family lifestyle session which includes a minimum of two hours and an online gallery of high-resolution photos to view + download.

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family in their home as they welcomed their newborn daughter. These little moments in between the posed are some of my favorites and one of the reasons why I love documentary photography so much.
